As the 2021-2022 podcast-in-residence at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, I produced, wrote, edited and sound design the entirety of Season 7 of Raw Material: Visions of Black Futurity.

Visions of Black Futurity looks to the history of the Black Arts Movement in California to begin to envision a future of Black art that exists outside of museums. We follow the life and work of one woman in particular, named EJ Montgomery—a curator, artist and organizer of Black artistic spaces in the late 60’s and early 70’s, in the Bay Area. We take all that we can learn from her life and work, in hopes of building a better Black Art Future.
